Make your own Dog Biscuits

Last month was pretty sad... Panda the dog of my best friend passed and Mia, the girlfriend of Mr Parker passed as well. So this post is for them. I hope that they are both resting in peace.
Hey don't laugh ok. It's sad!

This will be a short post. Not that there are no Natural remedies for dogs but to be honest i am not sure about them. Mr Parker never gave me a positive feedback on my little experiments. But he loved the biskits. He calls it wafwaf :-)

Healthy rewards
This is a recipe from Laurel Vukovic, i have adapted it slightly to match the ingredients we have here

for lovely healthy biscuits you will need
260g whole wheat flour
110g cornmeal (Polenta)
100g sesame seed
3 eggs
60ml milk
125 chicken stock ( organic cubes will do)
2 Table spoon of Olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic

Mix the flour, cornmeal and sesame seeds in a a large bowl. Beat two eggs with the milk and add the chicken stock, olive oil and garlic. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry and mix well into a firm dough. Leave for 15 minutes.

Place the dough on a floured surface. Roll out the dough (like a pizza) and cut it into whatever shaped you like. Mr Parker likes hearts. ( i know he is probably gay) Beat the last egg and brush the biscuit with the egg.

Place the biscuits on to a lightly greased biscuit sheet and bake them in a 180C oven for 30 minutes. They are ready when they turn to a golden color. Remove the biscuit from the baking sheet and then leave to cool.

Watch their tail swing with delirious happiness when they smell it :-)

Did you know that Plain yogurt are super good for their digestion? Yes! Did you know that garlic can help fight parasites?

Massage
They love it. Warm your hands and massage their neck, their back and pay special attention to their ears. Roll your fingers softly on their ears. Mr Parker sleeps every time i give him a massage. They NEED love. They understand energy better than you think.

That's it for today... Do you want to suggest the theme for next week?

This is Mr Parker Philips, Isn't it the cutest dog ever... See how he smiles for the camera...
